Ear wax removal by microsuction

Excessive or impacted ear wax can cause discomfort and hearing loss.  It can also interfere with the normal operation of hearing aids.  Traditional methods of removal, such as syringing, may be effective but carry some inconveniencies, such as administering oil for several weeks before treatment; and risks, such as damage to the ear drum and/or ear pain.

Microsuction is different because it is usually a 'same day' treatment.  The ear wax and the ear canal remain in clear vision for the practitioner throughout the procedure and this improves efficiency of the clearance and significantly reduces risk.  Most microsuction treatments are 100% successful at the first time of asking with minimal oil instaltion required beforehand.

Microsuction is the method of ear wax and foriegn body removal used by the majority of Ear, Nose and Throat Outpatient Clinics and is often referred to as a 'gold standard' treatment method.  djB hearing ltd is able to offer this service either at one of our clinic locations or in the comfort of your own home.
